Gerald was born and raised in Kalihi, O’ahu. A 2020 Farrington High School graduate, he is a senior at UH Mānoa studying B.S. Molecular Cell Biology with a minor in English. Gerald’s life-long goal is to serve as a primary care physician in his hometown. Gerald has served as Social Media Director for PPMAH for the 2023-24 academic year, creating infographics, sharing information about opportunities for pre-medical students, and recaps on PPMAH events via Instagram. Gerald hopes to continue his work with PPMAH as Vice President, focusing on active outreach to younger students interested in pursuing medicine and maintaining camaraderie among the Filipino and general Hawai’i population. Outside of school, Gerald volunteers at the Hawai’i Houseless Outreach and Medical Education (HOME) Project Kahua Clinic and enjoys spending time with his two younger brothers.
